Life’s pulling Buffy in every direction. Get up, go to school, train with Giles during free periods, then home, do homework, have something to eat before going on patrol… Sometimes she can spare enough time to stop by The Bronze and hang out with her friends, but she’s just as likely to be too busy battling vampires to put in an appearance.

She trails home in the early hours, long after her mom thinks she’s in bed asleep, only to get up the next day and do it all over again, round and around, like a carousel that never stops.
